By making a booking with us you agree to the below terms and conditions.

These restrictions are applicable to all persons attending the Club and subsidiary businesses, including for event and cruise bookings.

Cancellations, the following policies apply, unless stated otherwise:
• The Hervey Bay Boat Club reserves the right to cancel any booking without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible, flexible cancellation policies may apply.
• Bookings cancelled within 24hrs of commencement incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Bookings cancelled within 7 days of commencement incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• Bookings cancelled up-to 7 days prior to commencement may be rescheduled or refunded.
• The Hervey Bay Boat Club cannot be held liable for any loss as the result of a cancellation, such as travel costs, accommodation bookings etc.

Refunds must be issued to the card initially charged.

A child is classed as a person aged 0 to 14 years.

Unless stated otherwise, seating is automatically assigned. Cancellations and refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfied placement.

If the vessel leaves without you at the advertised time, an alternative cruise of the same value will be offered. No refunds will be issued.

Boat Club Adventure Cruises reserves the right to substitute another vessel in the event of unavailability of the advertised vessel.

Boat Club Adventure Cruises reserves the right to cancel any trip without notice due to adverse weather conditions.

If the cruise is cancelled by Boat Club Adventure Cruises due to circumstances beyond our control, an alternative cruise of the same value or refund will be offered.

Whale sightings are guaranteed between 17 July and 14 October. In the unlikely event that the captain is unable to locate a whale during a whale watching cruise between these dates, a complimentary return ticket will be offered. No refunds will be issued.

Guests are required to check-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Cruises with persons advertised "travel free" is conditional to being accompanied by a full fare paying person. For example one free child (0-14yrs) per paying adult. When more than one child is present the discount will be applied to the youngest child's ticket.

For cruises with standard fares for children (i.e. not free), a child is classed as a person aged 4 to 14 years. In this case, infants 0 - 3 years travel free on such cruises.

It is your duty as a passenger on a commercial vessel to take reasonable care for own safety and belongings. You must not restrict the master of the vessel from making or implementing a decision that, in the professional opinion of the master, is necessary for the safety of a person or the vessel. As a passenger aboard a domestic vessel you must:
(a) not unreasonably place the safety of another person at risk.
(b) not interfere with or misuse any safety equipment provided on the vessel.
(c) comply with reasonable and lawful directions of the master and crew.

Customers are responsible for bringing items recommended in the "What to Bring" section of you booking information. It is your reasonability to read updated seasonal cruise information and warnings in the booking section.

Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and management of children in their care.

Boat Club dining discount applies for day of travel only upon presentation of a valid boarding pass.

Peak period pricing may apply.

No refunds will be issued once a tour or event has commenced.

Discounted Member tickets are only valid upon presentation of a valid, financial members card. If this is not presentable you may become a member of The Boat Club (joining fees apply) or pay the outstanding balance of standard priced ticket(s).
