On this tour we'll explore the best fishing spots around Hervey Bay and the northern end of the Great Sandy Marine Park. Tour commentary covers the use of GPS and sounders, local fish species (and how to catch them), catchment management, boating safety, and the different zones and designated areas, including the Roy Rufus, Hardie, and Simpson artificial reefs.

When possible the tour will feature representatives from Fishos Tackle World, Marine Rescue Hervey Bay, QLD Parks & Wildlife, QLD Fisheries, QLD Police Service, and local fishing legends.
